When is the last time you had that feeling? Fear?

You know…

Excitement, mixed with fear, mixed with panic, mixed with WoooHooo! I spent a couple weeks visiting family in Texas and while at the Houston Rodeo, I decided to give the mechanical bull a whirl. Now, being a mommy of two babies, living the suburbia life, this was a little unexpected.

Why did I do it?

Because I love to push myself out of my comfort zone. I love it. Growth and courage thrive outside of your comfort zone. You learn who you are when you get thrown into new situations. You push yourself. This is why we can’t let fear dictate our lives. Fear is a killer. It stops people before they even start.

What if I:

  • look dumb?
  • fail?
  • can’t get on the bull?
  • fall down?
  • make people laugh at me?

Do it evern if you have fear

Do it anyway. Live your life, unafraid. Summon courage to do the things you have always wanted to do. It might be a business, a blog, it might be a job, or a move, or a relationship. Pursue what your intuition places in your heart.

I am not the first who will tell you this. It is not a new idea…however, maybe I will reach you by telling you in a new way.
