Do you think Gabby Douglas would have won the Olympics if she had not invested in a coach?

Do you think any of the great athletes, like Gabby Douglas, entrepreneurs or rags to riches success stories would have happened if there had never been a coach or a mentor to show them the way?

I can tell you, so you don’t have to wonder.

No. They would not. And I would put money on that statement.

Gabby Douglas actually moved away from her family to train with the greatest coach in all of gymnastics, because she knew it was her ticket to winning the Olympics.

So let me ask you, if you’ve been sitting at a plateau for a while now…what do you think will shift you into high gear?

What would Gabby Douglas do?

I hired my first business coach when I had quit my job and I was fed up with pulling in $400 each month from my blog. No one can live on that kind of money. Especially with two kids, a husband who only eats organic, a mortgage and all the responsibilities of life. I decided to step up, raise my hand and say, “Someone please show me what I need to do.“. I hit the point where I decided I’m going to make $10,000 this month in my business, I declared it!

And it HAPPENED.

You can’t be afraid to take action and invest in yourself. No one is going to come rescue you and help your business succeed. Sorry to be harsh but no one gives a crap about your business. You have to be the driving force, you have to be the one who cares and tries over and over. You have to go all in.

So, why do I mentor and coach others?

Honestly, it’s one of the most powerful ways to pay it forward. I love to see my clients create thriving businesses. I love to see my clients get financially free from a 9-5 job.

The world needs more people who are fully alive, living their dream, giving thousands of dollars to charities, building schools, making lots of money and creating jobs for others! This is the world I want to live in.

Over the past 9 months, I’ve gotten very clear on who I love to work with. I don’t work with people who are looking for a magic pill, or overnight success without the work. Business takes effort. But when you love it…is it really work? I don’t think so. I call it, the good life.

I’ve read through history and the great leaders and inventors always had mentors. People have paid anywhere from $500-$50,000+ for mentorship. Why? Proximity and knowledge. You will flat out reach your goals faster if an expert takes the time to show you the path.

If you’ve ever thought that mentorship should be free, I say, that’s ridiculous. If I saw a personal trainer out on the corner of the street soliciting free personal training, I’d be frightened. Why? Because that person has no value to me. It’s free, for crying out loud. Why should it be any good?

If I spend hours of my life with you, that means I am not growing my own business or hanging out with my two adorable babies, and that will cost you 🙂

Seriously, though, it will also make you get your skin in the game; when you truly have money on the line.

Sounds like tough love? Well, it works.
