One day I was tucking my daughter in for her nap. As a rambunctious two year old would have it, she decided to jump up and down on her new big girl bed. All I see are edges, corners, bumps and bruises. I worry, so I tell her, “Baby stop jumping please, it’s bed time and you’re stressing me out.”
Ever so gently she points to my forehead and says, “What’s this, mama?”
“These are wrinkles baby,” I say with a chuckle.
With all the confidence in the world, she nods her little head and says, “Oh yes, sprinkles.”
I don’t know why this makes me smile so much, I guess it’s this ability to lean into my motherhood and think: Yes, I am getting older. I can smile about it because of the two angels that I’m raising.
They will give me hundreds more wrinkles, but thousands more smiles. It’s hard and it’s overwhelming. No part of parenting is easy, but holy macaroni, it’s worth it! I love these kids so much it’s insane.
This week has been the re-open for enrollment of PaycheckLove.com. I’ve been spending hours online with emails, trainings and videos up to my ears…Swimming in “to do lists”.
Sometimes I have to stop and think why?
I do this for a very big reason, it’s actually built into my DNA at this point. I want every mom to have the opportunity I have. To sit at home with her kids, work, provide income, and feel financially free.

Something that stops a lot of women from pursuing their dreams, quitting the dead-end job, or jumping fully into a happier lifestyle is worry. Worry is the most useless emotion. It leads nowhere. It does no good.
This moment of writing has been therapeutic for me, so thank you for reading.

I do it for the same reason π My baby girl. And you are right, There are moments when you want to rip your hair out and go to a land far far away LOL. But in one word, or smile, that all melts away. I do it to provide a better future.
